________________________________ description: By far my most popular Christmas design. I have painted dozens and dozens of this nativity design each year since I introduced it around 1995. The Holy Family are silhouetted on a background of graduated blue. Star, halo, and tiny pinpoint stars are painted in reflective metallic silver, and they "glow" in the light. Your egg may vary only slightly in details, shading, etc. "Star Over Bethlehem", "Journey of the Magi", and "Shepherds' Star" are perennial designs. I will be painting them each year as I have for several years now. Add one a year til you have the set of three! |
